We work with Kashmiri nuts for their incomparable taste, of course, but also for their eco-responsible method of cultivation, without fertilizers or chemical amendments. A choice that favours biodiversity and not hybrid varieties grown in intensive orchards. These small-caliber nuts come from traditional groves, comes perfectly adapted to the environmental conditions (soil, altitude, exposure) and therefore less water-intensive. They are all organically grown and sulfite-free.
Masa Bakery takes pride in its use of locally churned butter, carefully selected for its exceptional quality and taste. The butter used in Masa Bakery's recipes is made using traditional methods by skilled artisans within the local community. Notably, this butter is crafted from the milk of the Gir cow, a breed recognized for its rich and creamy milk that is ideal for butter making. The result is a smooth, velvety butter with a rich flavor that perfectly complements Masa Bakery's baked good
We work with artisanal chocolate, with brown sugar (unrefined sugar), without GMOs . For the milk chocolate, the milk comes from a dairy in Kerala.
We only work with organic, free-range eggs
