The Beginning of MASA Bakery

Nariman and I met in Paris, where we both attended Ecole Ducasse, one of the most prestigious culinary schools in the world. Our passion for food and cooking brought us together, and we quickly became close friends.

One of the most memorable experiences we shared during our time in Paris was when we visited Mamiche bakery. We were blown away by the delicious aroma of freshly baked bread and the exquisite taste of the croissants and pastries. We knew at that moment that we wanted to create something similar, something that could capture the essence of Parisian baking and bring it to our home city of Mumbai.Ā

Years later, our dream became a reality when we opened Masa Bakery in Mumbai. Drawing on the techniques and traditions we learned in Paris, we set out to create a bakery that celebrated the art and craft of baking, using only the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Our goal was to create a space where people could come and savor the taste of freshly baked bread, pastries, and cakes, all made with the utmost care and attention to detail.

Today, Masa Bakery is known for its exceptional quality, delicious flavors, and commitment to using only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. We feel so fortunate to have been able to turn our dream into a reality, and we are grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.

Our time in Paris may have sparked our passion for baking, but it was the journey we took to get to where we are today that truly shaped us as bakers and as people. We are proud to continue to learn, grow, and create new and delicious recipes, and we look forward to sharing our love of baking with the world for years to come.
